Accepted payment methods
Requirements
- Available on: All plans
- Device access: Web & mobile browser
- Permission: Owner or Manager (anyone with payment access)
When you record a payment for an appointment, you choose a Method. SalonHub360 supports one card method that processes through your account, plus several manual tenders you record after collecting the money yourself.
Card payment (processed by SalonHub360)
- Credit card — entered and charged through SalonHub360 Payments, powered by Stripe. The money lands in your bank on your payout schedule.
Note: The Credit card method works only once your SalonHub360 Payments account is active. Until then, use a manual method below to log a card you ran elsewhere.
Manual tenders (you collect, then record)
These methods simply record that you were paid — SalonHub360 doesn't move the money for them. Use them to keep an accurate, complete history on the appointment.
| Method | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Cash | Cash handed to you in person |
| Card (manual) | A card you ran on an outside terminal, then logged here |
| Check | A paper check |
| Zelle | A Zelle transfer |
| Venmo | A Venmo payment |
| Bank transfer | A direct bank transfer (your region's bank options may also appear) |
| Other | Anything not listed above |
For manual tenders you can add a Reference # (for example, a Zelle or Venmo confirmation) and Notes so the record is easy to reconcile later.
What isn't a payment method here
- Gift cards, packages, and memberships are redeemed in their own flows, not chosen as a tender in the Record Payment dialog.
- SalonHub360 doesn't integrate in-person card readers from other point-of-sale brands. To record a card you ran on an outside terminal, use Card (manual).
Tip: To learn how to record any of these against an appointment, see How to take a payment for an appointment.
