Offer add-ons

Requirements

  • Available on: All plans
  • Device access: Web & mobile browser
  • Permission: Owner or Manager

Add-ons are small extras clients can tack onto a service — think a scalp massage with a blow-dry, or a paraffin treatment with a manicure. This article explains how add-ons will work and what to do in the meantime.

Coming soon

A dedicated screen to create add-ons and attach them to your services is on the way. When it ships, you'll be able to:

  • Create an add-on with its own name, optional price, and optional extra time.
  • Attach it to one or more services so it appears as an optional extra when that service is booked.
  • Decide per service whether the add-on is optional or required.

We'll update this article with step-by-step instructions the moment the feature is available.

What to do today

You can already cover most add-on scenarios with the tools you have now:

  • Make the add-on its own service. Create a separate service (for example, "Add-on: Scalp massage") with its own price and duration, then let clients book it alongside their main appointment. See Add & organize your services.
  • Bundle extras into one service. If an extra is almost always included, build it into the parent service's price and duration so it's part of the standard appointment.
  • Group with packages. To sell a fixed set of services together at one price, create a package instead. See Create a package.

Tip: Using a standalone service for an extra also lets you control exactly which staff can perform it — see Assign services to staff.
