What you'll need to verify your account

Requirements

  • Available on: All plans
  • Device access: Web & mobile browser
  • Permission: Owner

Before you can accept card payments and receive payouts, Stripe needs to confirm who you are and where to send your money. This is a legal requirement (often called identity verification or KYC) for everyone who gets paid through Stripe — it protects you and your clients.

What you'll be asked for

Have these ready to make setup quick:

  • Business details — your business name, address, phone, what services you offer, and your tax ID (for most solo professionals in the US, this is your SSN or ITIN; registered businesses use an EIN).
  • Your identity — your legal name, date of birth, home address, and, in the US, the last 4 digits of your SSN.
  • Your bank account — the account where you'd like your payouts deposited.

Note: SalonHub360 never sees or stores your full SSN, ID document, or bank number. You enter them directly into Stripe's secure form; SalonHub360 only receives a "verified / not verified" status.

If Stripe needs a little more

Most accounts verify automatically. Occasionally Stripe asks for more to confirm your identity:

  • Your full SSN (instead of just the last 4), or
  • A photo of a government-issued ID (front and back).

This is routine — provide it and you'll be on your way. Outside the US, you'll typically upload an ID document instead of an SSN.

Until verification is complete

While your account is still being verified:

  • You can't accept card payments or collect online deposits, and
  • Payouts are paused until Stripe can confirm your details.

Everything else in SalonHub360 — booking, calendar, clients — keeps working normally.

Verification can be requested again later

Stripe may occasionally ask for updated information even after you're active — for example, when your sales reach a certain volume, or when an ID document on file expires. You'll get a heads-up in the app and by email, with time to respond before anything is interrupted.

Tip: If you ever see an "Action required" message on your Payments page, follow "Action required": resolve a verification hold to fix it in a couple of minutes.
